CurrentMy day to day role involves -- Supervising and coordinating colleagues across the services department to ensure an efficient front-end operation.- Maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive shopping trip, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.- Adhering to department KPIs, ensuring my team meet these and providing further coaching to colleagues where necessary.- Completing cash management including open/close routines.- Managing department consumables, ensuring availability of supplies and equipment.- Ensuring equipment is operational, organising repair or replacement where necessary.- Coordination with wider store to ensure colleagues are present where demand requires.- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations, including overseeing operational and legal training of colleagues where required.Additionally, I regularly step up as duty manager within our convenience format stores, where I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the shop.
