About Taylor Ely
I often say that I found my voice when I picked up a clarinet for the first time in sixth grade. Sixteen years later, I have the incredible opportunity to help my students find their voices the same way I found mine. I am a band director and woodwind specialist who believes wholeheartedly in not only providing excellent musical experiences through band but in creating a space where students feel comfortable being themselves— where they can grow as both musicians and people. I aim to guide through servant leadership and empowering students through the musical, social, intellectual, and emotional benefits of music education.
