Passion for this line of work is what has driven me to obtain my current role in my career. It also drives me to keep progressing forward, or as some may say, climb the corporate ladder. It is no surprise that working with individuals that have special needs can be challenging at times. However, I get to see each and every step of improvement, which fires up my soul and warms my heart. I feel that is a pretty good indication I'm doing what I was made for. When I am not working, I manage to stay busy with my two greatest blessings, my son's. Regardless of endless toy messes and laundry, we enjoy dance parties, reading books, and playing a lot of super hero scenarios. If I ever stumble on free time (rare, but necessary), I thoroughly enjoy reading some of my favorite authors work, Rachel Hollis and Brené Brown.Recently, I read something that stood out to me and also happens to be a perfect ending to my spiel. A statement by Robin S. Sharma, "Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and you have to inspire team-mates and customers."
