Community Solutions have helped 14 communities (and counting!) in the United States to reach a measurable end to homelessness. Given their success, they have expanded and support international communities to ensure homelessness is rare, brief, and non-reoccurring. My role is to support those international communities - which are in Australia, Canada, the UK, and France, with others joining. I help to build large-scale movements using system improvement models and act as a field catalyst for change!

End Street Sleeping Collaboration is a collective impact project that aims to halve rough sleeping across NSW by 2025 and work toward ending it by 2030. Signatories to the Joint Commitment to End Street Sleeping include the Premier of NSW, the homelessness sector’s leading NGOs, City of Sydney and peaks. Collaborators include local governments, philanthropists, homelessness sector NGOs and the Department of Communities and Justice. End Street Sleeping Collaboration is a not-for-profit organisation specifically established to lead the collaborative effort, to deliver on our commitment and reach our target to halve street sleeping across NSW by 2025 and end it altogether by 2030. As the Community Impact Officer at End Street Sleeping Collaboration I am responsible for using holistic approach to empower community-based outcomes and create systems change. I engage with local communities and key stakeholders to reduce homelessness through use of the By-Name List database. As part of the Community Impact Team, I also ensures the use of collaborative approaches within communities and identifies local system gaps and barriers that impact responses.

Frontline experience working within a multi-disciplinary team providing outreach, assessments, stabilisation and post-placement support for individuals experiencing homelessness. I collaborated with with government and non-government agencies to provide person-centred, culturally aware & safe, strength-based, trauma-informed, and value-based practices. I created case coordination tools to reach client-centred housing and support goals and actively participated in evaluation processes of the Assertive Outreach program to improve client outcomes.

Frontline experience completing in-patient assessments, treatment planning, intervention strategies, and discharge planning for children and youth with complex psychiatric concerns. I coordinated care plans within an interdisciplinary team within a Stabilisation Care Unit. I was able to effectively work with social and legal systems to respond to client identified needs to help reach their goals, achieve stabilisation, and their reintegration into society

I gained crisis intervention skills working in an intensive environmentAs part of my team lead role, I created and delivered a case management program and initiated data collection for the shelter through questionnaires, general statistics, and research.
