During my time in Vancouver, I also had the pleasure of helping run a recording studio with the UBC School of Music and Chan Centre. Prior to this, I took on various live audio and a/v management positions and completed independent Audio Engineering courses with Berklee College of Music. My early education as a multi-instrumentalist allowed me to develop a keen ear through participation in diverse ensembles, from drumline, to symphony, to world music ensembles. While studying music history, I discovered my passion for music technology. I love working as an audio engineer and recording technician, and I am particularly interested in interactive applications. In the male-dominated field of audio technology, I am dedicated to connecting, supporting, and encouraging other women in the industry. π
