My background is in cosmetology, which I have been practicing for about 7 years now. Over time of listening and empathizing with individuals life-stories, their ailments, their stresses of their day to day lives, I wondered if I there could possibly be more healing behind simply just giving a listening ear (although this has proved extremely important as well). I do hold true that one person can take away months of angst in a moment simply by listening.I believe in changing the healthcare paradigm to one of holistic healing. I am currently going to school to become an AyurVedic Practitioner with a strong emphasis on Nutrition Response Testing and Transcendental Meditation. My goal in life is to support individuals in feeling heard as well as becoming educated so they can take this knowledge and incorporate it into their daily lives.
