Health And Safety Officer
Current• Manage and administer the Injury & Illness Prevention Program to ensure compliance with CAL/OSHA • Conduct training for employees, supervisors, and managers• Perform and document job site inspections, employee safety meetings, tailgate meetings, new hire safety orientations, job hazard analysis, and monthly safety committee meetings• Conduct internal investigations, incident, and injury investigations• Oversee and attend CAL/OSHA inspections, review citations, and close out conferences.• Perform filing of required CAL/OSHA documents, permits, and other records.• Ensure compliance with CAL/OSHA regulations• Investigate motor vehicle accidents and incidents• Prepare safety reports for management outlining vehicle accidents, near misses, and first aid injuries.• Oversee annual chemical inventory and assist in maintaining Safety Data Sheets• Conduct onsite inspections to ensure safety and health requirements are maintained in accordance with state and federal regulations and company safety policies and programs• Security and risk assessments
