Local representative of the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Organization, subsidiary of the Miss America Scholarship Organization. Will spend 1 year promoting scholastic achievement, networking with community leaders, promoting my social impact initiative Healing Hearts Through the Arts, and engaging humanitarian work throughout Statesville and Iredell County.Opportunity for promotion will occur June 2023 at the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Competition.

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area

Work with people with Intellectual/ Developmental disabilities to execute individualized plans. Duties include providing structure and support for goal setting, building social capital, learning about how to maintain independence, etc. Work with program participants 1-on-1 in addition to providing support in certain social activities.

Work with professionals in the addiction field alongside a mentor to create a community impact project raising awareness and providing resources for people struggling with addiction, specifically in the collegiate setting. Current impact project aims to provide training and resources regarding drug and alcohol overdose.

Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Nisha Gottfredson’s lab in the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, Department of Health Behavior.Reviewing and analyzing behavior change techniques and mobile health interventions as they correlate with obesity-related diseases, through full-text analyses of peer-reviewed research articles.

Oversees and directs all membership and retention processes for the UNC Panhellenic Council. Works closely with Panhellenic executives, Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life employees, higher administration within the University, and the leadership, advisors, and membership of each member organization. Plans and executes virtual and in-person recruitment events across the council promoting collegiate social, mental, and academic development.
