While serving as an intern for the summer, I worked with and directed five short-term missions teams from the USA in ministry and volunteer work in Ecuador, serving as the liaison between visiting teams and locals in Ecuador. I engaged in ministry with low-income, at-risk children through Portoviejo 7.8, feeding, teaching, and handling operations. I also learned about and engaged with Ecuador's culture and people, living with a local pastor and his family, helping with church programs and leading Bible studies.

Directed a team of five professionals in organizing and facilitating after school activities for 100 children in grades K-7. I restructured and strengthened the after school program, pinpointing problematic areas and implementing solutions while mediating between parents, teachers, and students.

Handled operations, organization, filing, financials, phone and front desk and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Served as a resource teacher for 4th-7th grades and after-school care.

Teach Social Studies to 4th, 5th, and 6th grades and serve as homeroom teacher for 4th and 5th graders.
