At Family & Children's Services, I research and brief general counsel on new Oklahoma health care statutes, revise the Employee Handbook and HR policies to ensure compliance with COA standards, draft contracts and lease agreements, and evaluate potential liabilities for best practices.

At Paige Hulse Law, I draft small business contracts, draft ancillary documents for large estate plans, and conduct legal research regarding patents and Oklahoma business requirements.

At Hanson & Holmes, I drafted memorandum, wills, and pleadings, prepared trial binders, and responded to discovery requests, answered client questions with attorney supervision, and attended hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and other proceedings.

At Community Health Connection I conducted legal research related to business agreements and employment law, drafted consent forms and internal procedural orders relating to confidentiality, and attended board meetings, contract meetings and governmental grant meetings.

In this role, I created and curated original water-related content for our audience of professionals, partners and the public by writing monthly blog posts and short articles for publication. Additionally, I read scientific articles and summarized them for public consumption, built and updated media lists and databases, and attended and reported on various events.

With Grady Newsource, I was able to explore my passion of food. I actively pursued stories and connections with local chefs, farmers, and food influencers. At times, I worked with a team of other reporters to creatively recreate traditional narratives. Through these connections, I learned how truly personal food and diet are.
