As part of this role, I am involved in governing the charity to ensure it is managed and run to fulfill its purpose of supporting women who have suffered from Domestic Abuse. To do this, I attend and contribute to quarterly board meetings, particularly specialising in supporting the charity on their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and providing a unique perspective as the youngest board member.

In this role, I manage both income-generating and non-income generating events, as well as office operations and CRM implementation.As part of this role, I have oversight over our events portfolio to ensure all events are cost-effective, whilst still being delivered to the highest standard.I also contribute to the wider growth strategy of the organisation, collaborating with the other managers in my team, as well as SLT to ensure all decisions made are in the best interests of the charity.

As an addition to my role as Events Officer, I also managed the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion committee, who existed to ensure that the charity provided an inclusive environment for both staff and service users. During our year, we produced a new EDI policy to progress the charity's objective of being a leader in the charity sector in that space.

This role saw me manage the RugbyWorks event portfolio from conception to completion. Within this role, I:- Created and implemented a three year fundraising strategy focusing on Events and Corporate Partnerships fundraising- Managed and run both income-generating and non-income generating events including lunch events, gala dinners, golf days, the annual RugbyWorks awards, and an international cycling event- Managed both small and large teams on event days, ensuring everyone knew what was expected of them, as well as problem solving quickly is issues did arise- Rebuilt and nurtured crucial relationships with supporters and stakeholders, who had been lost due to the pandemic.

During this role, I was responsible for creating and implementing a marketing strategy to increase, our social media presence, the amount of individual donors, and newsletter subscribers.Within this role, I:- Created monthly campaigns and broadcast them across our social media channels to highlight areas important to the charity- Worked with a variety of partners to broaden the reach of these campaigns- Edited and created new content for the RugbyWorks website on Joomla- Used Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva to create new and exciting content for our channels - Designed, gathered content for, and sent out a monthly Team Talk newsletter to all Dallaglio RugbyWorks subscribers updating them with the latest RugbyWorks news- Provided administrative support to RugbyWorks team members in ways such as managing the Trainline business account, managing our office space, monitoring the general RugbyWorks email inbox, and planning full squad days - Assisted with the onboarding of new RugbyWorks team members by taking part in the interview process and conducting inductions.

Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by selecting all items customers requested in their online shop, or providing the best alternatives for the items that were unavailable. This job required accuracy of product selection, as well as the ability to keep calm under pressure in this fast paced working environment. Efficiency, speed, and quality were essential in this role.

Examples of modules studied are applied exercise psychology, teaching and coaching, the social psychology of everyday life, and qualitative and quantitative research methods. This degree is also accredited by the British Psychological Society. Alongside studying for my degree, I was Sports Secretary for my hall of residence, which involved including all students in my halls in inter-mural sport within the university. I ensured we had teams represented in all leagues and one day events and assisted with the smooth running of the programme within my hall. I was also a peer mentor and e-mentor, meaning I supported a group of 6 new students at the university during their first year of study.
