Team Lead
CurrentResponsible for overseeing the portfolios for designated country as assigned, training and supervision of assigned team. Predeparture consultations to senior leadership and MGT chiefs on post operations. Perform a variety of assignments related to developing, planning, organizing, coordinating, and analyzing travel processes, regulations, and service aspects for administering travel order. Develops, maintains and applies reporting and analysis summaries for senior management and analysis tools to measure efficiency and effectiveness. Liaises with colleagues at Post and within NEA-SCA/EX for resolution on country-specific issues. Executes special projects as assigned by GTM and -OIP Director. Refining processes to provide the most efficient services. Distributes a balanced workload among employees. Resolves issues raised by travelers and Program Assistants. Refer larger issues to the OIP Director Ensures that all the pre-deployment elements of in-processing are completed. Accuracy of visa logs and the security of all passports that are received for visa processing. Customer support to all U.S. Government employees deploying under COM. Customer service involves phone, email, and direct communication with employees from their initial assignment until their arrival at post. Assists and ensure traveler has completed deployment requirements. Ensures team enters travelers’ data into OIP’s shared databases. Update database as necessary. Maintains an electronic personnel file for each traveler. Monitor personnel files for completeness and accuracy. Prepares and sends all weekly required reports to Post. Prepares travel authorizations and voucher preparation using the E2 Solutions system. Review travel authorizations to determine what expenses an employee is entitled to and prepare voucher related paperwork. Monitors in-processing appointments and ensures employee has met all pre-deployment requirements prior to appointment.
