With significant work experience in the fields of environmental science, biology and animal welfare, I am passionate about protecting and connecting marine life with the community. As the Animal Care Manager at Hawaii Marine Animal Response, I oversee and manage all operations of the Care Center, HMAR’s marine animal hospital and rehabilitation facility focused on support for sea turtles. I am also involved in field response, rescue, interventions, and stranding support of marine animals on Oahu. In addition, I am a Marine Biologist and Crew Member at Dolphin Excursions Hawaii, where I observe marine animal behavior and ecology, and educate the public about the conservation of marine life and their habitats. I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others who share my mission and values. I believe that by fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and curiosity, we can make a positive difference for the animals and the environment.
