• The Ancient Forest Society is a non-profit dedicated to studying and protecting old trees and ancient forests in California.• I contribute to several programs aimed at understanding how Sequoiadendron giganteum (giant sequoia) function and how environmental change is impacting them. • My role encompasses: field and laboratory research, data analysis and synthesis, manuscript publication, fundraising, public outreach and education.

• Worked with the Laboratory of Tree Ring Research and managed multiple research projects related to the field of dendroecology and dendroclimatology.

• Partnered with the United States Forest Service and worked within the Pacific Southwest Region Ecology Program to conduct forestry studies in an attempt to understand post-fire effects. • Inventoried and monitored giant sequoia trees located throughout the Sequoia National Forest, as well as quaking aspen and Jefferey pine trees within the Inyo National Forest.

• Developed, designed, and managed a graduate project aimed at understanding the interannual xylem plasticity of Pinus edulis and Populus tremuloides.

• Lectured on the topics of biology and ecology to undergraduate students in a laboratory.• Facilitated student learning through hands-on laboratory experiences and personalized instruction.

• Collected ecological data about the Southern plains region of Texas and Oklahoma

• Collected ecological data about the desert Southwest region of Arizona and New Mexico, as well as the Pacific Northwest region of Washington.
