About Taylor Steinbauer
I am currently a Case Manager working with adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness in Saginaw County. I have been working in social work since 2015 and will have a completed LLMSW in May 2021 from Michigan State University. I am also in the process of completing my CAADC for substance use disorder treatment. I have gained additional experience through internships while completing my Masters Degree from Michigan State University. These skills include Out-Patient Therapy and Co-Occurring Disorder Groups for adults with mental illness at Training and Treatment Innovations and Substance Use Counseling for elderly adults through the GRACE Project at Recovery Pathways. In the past I have also worked with children interning at the Child Development Center in Wyoming, Michigan and with Developmentally Disabled adults through Indian Trails Day Program in Allendale, Michigan. Through my experience and education I have developed skills in mental health treatment, Recipient Rights practices, Medicaid/Medicare billing, Motivational Interviewing, grant writing, substance use treatment, and more. I have a passion for working with people and feel comfortable in my abilities to assist clients with developing plans to overcome barriers and challenges to their wellbeing.
