    For the final semester of my Bachelors Degree in Communications and Advertising, I was required to complete an unpaid internship. After many emails and two rounds of interviews, I was selected to intern with the Executive Breakfast Producer on Hit 104.7's Ryan and Tanya. My role was the Assistant Breakfast Producer, going in at 5am and working until 11am every day. I worked closely with the Executive Producer and the Breakfast team each day to produce content to build a show that is memorable above all others in the Canberra market. Working across all parts of the show, with a strong emphasis on creating social and digital content. Good technical skills were extremely important, and I was also required to work with the digital, video, press and marketing teams to ensure the content and show gains maximum exposure driving people to listen to our show. After 6 months of interning, I became the Casual Breakfast Producer at Canberra FM and still go in every now and then to work while the other Executive Producers are away. The longest duration I produced the Ryan and Tanya Breakfast Show by myself was 9 weeks which was in September 2017.

I worked in this role almost every weekend along with my other two positions at Canberra FM.
