I have always loved fixing broken things. I believe that this interest led to my love of creation, especially creation with purpose. My love of fashion ironically grew from my absolute hatred of it. My body was not one that was easily dressed as a child. As a 12 year old my closet was filled with “mom store” labels and Missy prints. This was the problem that would ultimately become my purpose. Throughout my life I have been a lover of the arts and an artist at heart. I am now a multidisciplinary artist whose interests include: fashion design, fashion illustration, digital art/illustration and painting. I am skilled in Pattern Making, Technical Design, Fashion Illustration, Textiles, Writing, and Market/Trend Research. Solution oriented in every aspect, I've always enjoyed asking questions and looking for solutions to problems. I decided that I could combine my talent for art and my concern with fashion into something purposeful and problem solving. The problem that I encountered was not finding beautiful clothes for larger bodies and it is absolutely one that I wish to solve. I use my art and designs to fill gaps in representation and inclusivity in the fashion industry. My main goal is to to help people see and fall in love with themselves through art and fashion as well as include plus and extended sizing into the mainstream and exclusive world of fashion.
