I am a board-certified music therapist whose goal is to work with adults in outpatient or partial hospitalization mental health programs. Becoming a music therapist has allowed me to combine my interest in psychology with my love and passion for music. I work from an eclectic viewpoint, combining tenets of humanistic and cognitive psychology. I also use tenets of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my work.Currently, I work in private practice, where I visit disabled clients at home, and primarily focus on physical & cognitive goals. I am also working full-time as an admin assistant in order to achieve my goals of going to graduate school and earning my Licensed Professional Counseling designation.
