Taylor is a successful business executive who is fueled to impact young students and make a difference in their lives. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Taylor started his professional career as a Payroll Specialist at a large privately owned security firm. He assumed branch operational responsibilities after the first year with the company and quickly moved up the corporate ladder becoming a Regional Manager for his results-oriented approach and commitment to excellence. Taylor’s ability to build customer relationships and strong sales leadership resulted in his regions consistently meeting or exceeding company expectations. During the last part of his career, he focused solely on sales and set company records for new business in his territory.Despite his successes, Taylor, with strong support from his family, decided to make a change and bring a better balance to his family’s life ultimately becoming a stay at home dad.Presently, Taylor is fulfilling his true passion in making a positive effect on the lives of students as Director of Program Development at The Startup Studio. He believes in the power of giving students access to a real world curriculum thus enabling them to develop necessary 21st century skills. He is committed to changing education one step at a time and empowering students to find their true passion and interests before they embark on their professional careers.Taylor lives in Winter Garden, FL with his wife, Shannon, and his three daughters (Emily, Natalie and Danielle.) He is actively involved at school and in all of his daughter’s extracurricular activities.
