I design, direct and deliver custom qual and quant research projects for a wide range of B2B and B2C organizations. Recently accepted into Dentsu's Game Changing Talent leadership development program and received the internal "Knowledge Sharing Sage" award, bestowed by my colleagues at Merkle.

Reading the minds of retail shoppers and CPG consumers via quantitative and qualitative research approaches; enhancing research results with data analytics and industry expertise; and translating all of that into pithy, persuasive presentations that inspire Kantar clients to "win at retail" across a wide range of countries, channels, and consumer goods categories.I collaborate closely with internal software developers, data scientists, statisticians, SMEs, and consultants, as well as externally with industry experts, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders, to integrate and interpret a wide range of "raw" data and information into actionable insights and answers that address critical business issues. Beyond managing custom research and consulting projects for Kantar clients, I also help lead and manage a dynamic, diverse research department of ~30 full-time analysts, including several direct reports. Selected for six-month research secondment directly supporting the Kantar Global Chief Research Officer with various strategic research initiatives spanning multiple operating companies within Kantar Group.Main responsibilities included (1) providing support to the CRO on research design, analytics, and communications to support strategic research initiatives affecting multiple Kantar operating units, and (2) acquiring unique skills, experience, and perspective from higher level in organization to support further development as research & insights professional.Sample projects and accomplishments:- Mobile Research on Research: Conducted global meta-analysis of mobile survey results and distilled key findings and recommendations for Kantar researchers regarding mobile survey research. Drafted critical reference documents and thought leadership / white papers to communicate emerging principles and best practices to senior leaders and research practitioners across all Kantar operating companies.- Short-Form Survey Innovation: Developed CHAID-based analytical technique to reduce lengthy, standardized survey questions to shorter, mobile-friendly versions that still provide high validity & reliability of measurement.

Took ownership of multiple projects on a contract basis; worked independently to update key databases and create customized client reports within strict time deadlines and under budget; reported directly to vice president and practice leader of content services department.

- Displayed special aptitude for rapid, highly accurate verbatim transcription of political events & audio files, receiving multiple promotions and developing a variety of specialized technical skills and capabilities.- Promoted to A/V Director (fall 2009) - Assumed lead responsibility for all audio / visual equipment, platforms, and processes within department workload, from recording events to dubbing and editing audio to acquiring new equipment; developed & implemented training program in proper recording and editing techniques for new transcriptionists; responsible for all maintenance, upgrades, and acquisitions of new A/V equipment & software.- Promoted to Editor and Primary Event Recorder (spring 2009) - Took lead in attending & recording congressional hearings, press conferences, panel discussions, speeches, and other political events for over 30 diverse, demanding clients spanning the private and public sectors in D.C.
