Store Associates are responsible for being trained in every department in a typical Commissary store. This allows for a number of flexible and adaptive employees to be ready to assist where they are most needed and help the organization fulfill its goals on a day-to-day basis. Lead Store Associates help guide and supervise store associates during their training and ensure they have the skills and tools they need to perform in their role. Additionally, Lead Store Associates are expected to be able to perform the in a supervisory position as a department manager as the need arises.

Germany/Iraq

From 2005-2010 served as Infantryman from the rank of Private up to Sergeant. Learned advanced infantry skills and basic leadership/administrative skills for managing and leading up to 10 soldiers. From 2010-2012 served as Information Technology Non-Commissioned Officer for a U.S. Army Reserve unit. Responsible for the prioritizing and tasking of different I.T. functions to assigned soldiers and maintenance of all equipment for a battalion-sized element.
