I had the honor of being on the student team to bring UniteUS to Gainesville, Florida. Unite started at Auburn, Alabama and has now traveled all over the SEC gathering over 50,000+ students. "Unite exists to see college students gathered to lift the name of Jesus." Here is my reflection on being a student leader: Lord, I am in awe of your glory and faithfulness. When I think about what you are doing here in Gainesville and among the nations, I am at a loss for words. Months and months of prayers were answered. 6,000 students filled the O’Connell Center, not for a game or a pep rally, but to worship the name above all names. Afterwards, 1,000 students decided to trust in the Lord as their savior!! @unite_usGod, over the past couple of months, you’ve taught me what it truly means to wait on you and your provision, to be obedient, steadfast in prayer, and joyful in worship. Your timing is perfect, and you provide so abundantly more than we could ever ask for. To be able to witness His goodness and serve on this team with these wonderful people is a blessing I will never deserve.We are all broken, in need of a savior, and He waits with open arms for us to run home. There is so much freedom and joy in saying yes to Him!!! Wednesday night was just the beginning. Thank you, Lord for using this generation to expand your kingdom!
