Senior business student, aspiring fashion marketing expert. I am currently a Senior at the University of Montevallo focusing in the marketing field. With hopes of eventually working in the fashion industry, I am very passionate about the intersection of creativity and business. My goal is to combine my love for fashion with my knowledge of marketing to create meaningful experiences for consumers. Growing up in a very small town kept me very sheltered from the real world and all of its creative expression. You could be judged for even the slightest thing that made you different from everyone else. As someone who was always very involved in my community and school leadership, my image had to be pristine. Relocating to a much bigger city means I've had to relearn many things. What made me different and odd is now what makes me special and unique. I have learned that it's okay to stand out and express myself freely and it's accepted with open arms. Gaining experience in the retail industry over the past three years has further solidified my love for fashion. Currently working with a brand who values the customer experience so highly has strengthened my communication skills as well as marketing and planning skills. I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in the field. I am very excited about the possibility of collaborating with innovative brands and individuals who share my vision for creating memorable, authentic, experiences.
