Even as a kid, I loved to get my hands messy. Though I was never quite a ‘painting on the walls’-type of child, you could always find me deep in a project, surrounded by crayon stubs, bent pipe cleaner, and a mess of drafts fanning out around my designated worksite (at the time, a drafty corner in the basement my mom would easily clean). These days, while I might not be decimating pencil tips or rolling out tubes of acrylic, the same passion for creating still motivates me.Whether it’s refining written content for international marketing campaigns (Samsung, LG, Toyota) or overseeing the creation of a branded material from start to finish (Deeper Japan), the thrill of creation—of experimenting and imagining—remains all-consuming. So, I write, I edit, I plan, I research. I dive in deep to projects, even if it’s not always organized from the outset. I build ideas from the ground like Lego landscapes, taking joy in slotting together all of the small pieces together to construct something wondrous at the end. I pair my creative passions with my academic background to bring complex topics to life. And I love it. I’m always looking for new, exciting opportunities to keep creating. Don’t be shy in reaching out.
