Specialties include: Retail, Office, Industrial and Land Development. Brief History: Taylor began his career in real estate financing and mortgages in 1998. He spent nine months working as a loan officer for a lender, Champion Mortgage, specializing in residential refinance and purchase transactions. As the market began to shift, he relocated to Guardian Funding, a mortgage brokerage in the DC area where he would spend the next five years as a mortgage broker specializing in various types of residential and commercial financing. In 2004, Taylor founded Antietam Mortgage, Inc, also a mortgage brokerage as well as Blackwell², LLC, a property acquisition and investment company. Over the next several years, he honed his skills operating and managing the mortgage company while also dedicating his time to purchasing, selling and managing his own real estate investment portfolio. He obtained his real estate license in 2007 to assist him in the latter. In 2009, he shifted his focus towards full time real estate. In 2011, He purchased the local Prudential real estate franchise and founded Prudential Bowen Realty. In that same timeframe, he also founded Bowen Property Management in 2012, which specializes in residential and commercial property management. In 2015, he jumped at the opportunity to become a part of the new Berkshire Hathaway brand. The brokerage firm became Berkshire Hathaway Bowen Realty. The company grew year over year and the commercial team excelled. Taylor was awarded Top 5 Commercial Agent in the entire Berkshire Hathaway network three times, including number two in 2021. Additionally in 2021, Taylor was named a five year legend in the Chairman's Circle, the highest award for sales volume earned in the network. In September 2022, Taylor made the exciting decision to become part of the much larger, market leading Berkshire Hathaway Homesale Realty and founded Bowen Commercial Group under their umbrella. The move offered unmatched resources, tools and market reach allowing expansion into the Baltimore area as well as further up the I-81 corridor into Pennsylvania.
