Additionally, I also traveled for the week-long Men and Women's Basketball Championship events, providing secondary support on the WBK side. It was my primary responsibility to design, implement and execute an overall social media strategy for both events as a whole, while focusing on WBK. Throughout the week, I was responsible for many additional media coordination tasks while working alongside the league's WBK primary contact at all times. As a member of the social media team, I helped C-USA strive for innovation by collaborating on various tasks including but not limited to: increasing the professional influence of the league by revamping the Conference's LinkedIn page, expanding the league's social media reach across platforms by founding an official Snapchat account, developing creative methods to utilize Instagram and push followers to it, increase the use of creative "voice" and GIFs on Twitter, and instituting the use of Twitter cards for shared website content, among many other things.
