I also once said this, except to my parents after failing my first math exam in 11th grade.Despite its haunting connection to the only blemish of my academic career, I still find myself thinking of this quote today. Luckily, it's for much greater reasons: when it comes to work, my ethos revolves around innovative problem-solving, tackling all tasks creatively and always finding the positive angles to a situation. I guess a degree in public relations will do that to you!I have a passion for whatever I do and a never-ending desire to keep improving. With four years of experience in public relations, IT administration and organization management, as well as 10+ years of experience in graphic design, I have learned that adaptability and versatility are key to success. Challenges may be stressful, but they're also very enticing. I relish the opportunity to find solutions to complex problems. Even in my free time, I employ these skills through writing screenplays, creating music, analyzing sports stats & writing articles pertaining to my passions.Here's a list of some of my responsibilities at work:- Manage a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the livelihood and sustainability of New York's film and television production industry- Conceptualize & design graphic materials (electronic and print media) for over 15 clients, ensuring that each piece accurately reflects the client's vision and brand- Plan & coordinate various events, ranging from networking functions and educational seminars to cocktail hours and fundraisers- Conduct in-depth research reports on industry contemporaries and potential incoming clients (a.k.a. I'm an expert Googler)- Create and manage social media accounts for clients, establishing or increasing brand awareness in the process- Manage internal office IT & cybersecurity, as well as tend to any day-to-day maintenance issues/necessities Aside from believing in the importance of having a sense of pride in the work you do, I'm also a natural people-person. I thrive off the energy of others, truly enjoy collaboration & am always trying to learn from others. This behavior, in my eyes, is essential to succeeding in both personal & professional life. I believe life begins at the end of your comfort zone. I'm proud to say I can't remember the last time I was there.
