That connection "spark" is what I'm after with every talk, and with every engagement. My career has spanned global business and philanthropy, and it's been intentionally nonlinear. Although I started in management consulting, I'm a designer and creator at heart. So it wasn't long before I found myself architecting teams, designing leadership development programs and spearheading partnerships with major players. Some of the highlights of my non-linear journey (in no particular order):+ Getting recruited for a role in Mongolia to support an Aspen Crown Fellows Project - shaping the talent strategy for the major mining company, Rio Tinto. I moved to Ulaanbatar, Mongolia for the role. + Launching a partnership with the Kenyan Ministry of Health. Building a team from scratch. Taking Victoria Beckham on an advocacy visit to meet them. + Designing dozens of convenings for The Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Institute, for participants including former Presidents, young activists, top academics and business leaders. + Facilitating virtual learning and team building experiences for 300 teams in one year(!), helping teams experience the positive impact that brief but meaningful connection has on wellbeing, team trust, and collaboration.
