As a staff attorney at California Women's Law Center (CWLC), I work with a team of passionate and talented legal professionals to advance the civil rights and well-being of women and girls. I have been with CWLC for over a year and a half, and I am proud to contribute to their mission of addressing the intersectional issues that affect women's lives, such as gender discrimination, violence, health, and education.Before joining CWLC, I gained valuable experience as a staff attorney and a legal graduate at Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC), where I provided free legal assistance to low-income and marginalized communities. I handled cases involving housing, public benefits, family law, and consumer law, and I also participated in outreach and education activities. Through these roles, I developed my skills in non- profit grant management, development, teamwork, and advocacy. I am driven by a strong sense of social justice and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.
