Building upon the foundation set by CodeCafe and the experiences of my fellow Vulk Coop co-founders we have pushed the forefront of modernization and transformation for organizations across multiple domains bringing DevOps, Agile, and cloud native practices into those organizations and throughout our custom software solutions.I have been contributing to and a user of open source since the early 90s and am a passionate advocate of open source and community collaboration. I facilitate and encourage the symbiosis between people, processes, and tools within Vulk Coop and the customers we serve.My background includes software development, systems operations, automation and integration, CI/CD pipeline creation, and test writing in addition to managing and collaborating with teams of different sizes in addition to facilitating contributions and providing guidance in open-source communities. Architected new Telemedicine cloud platform and led team which migrated existing onsite software to the cloud. We designed and implemented architecture changes to support horizontal scaling vs vertical scaling to reduce cost and increase resiliency, among many other improvements while modernizing the original legacy software.Worked with medical practices and medical groups to understand and utilize the cloud based systems.Created migration paths for practices using onsite software to cloud, and provided hybrid as well as custom solutions.

Provisioning and Content Management Specialist for Shasta BSN.Designed and implemented solutions for broadband network services by analyzing customer environments/applications, and then adapting products/interfaces to integrate those systems. Used CORBA and XML for middle-ware development, and used SNMP and other network monitoring protocols. Developed test cases for internal and customer use.
