About Taylor Doolittle
My passion is the brain and my life mission is to research and discover a more sustainable treatment for mental illness, particularly anxiety disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My career focus is to investigate the mechanisms of these disorders within the brain and identify contributing factors, including studying the interaction of the brain and immune system during chronic anxiety states. Currently, I am a doctoral student at North Carolina State University, where we explore the connections between mast cells in the brain, anxiety, and environmental toxins. I am committed to advancing my research skills and knowledge in neuroscience and biomedical fields to better understand and address mental health challenges.
