Assisted in a study analyzing lipid accumulation in a variety of algae species. This includes applying a variety of different stress conditions and using multiple measurement techniques to understand how and why algae accumulate lipids during stress.

Assisted with planning the annual performance energy contracting conference for the state of Colorado.Headed the registration and served as the main liaison between the ESC and potential and registered attendees. Aiding in the determination of the name of the event, presentations, and schedules.

Assisted with a 5-year limited irrigation and crop stress research project on four crops: wheat, beans, corn, and sunflowers. These crops were systematically treated with six different treatments of controlled amounts of water to determine how to maximize crop yield and minimize the amount of water needed for irrigation.Collected data in the field including the growth stages and heights of crops, canopy cover (using an AccuPAR ceptometer), leaf area (using a Licor leaf area meter), and analyzed/organized all of this data, and additional data collected by different agricultural engineers and scientists, for presentation.Assembled a final report after the summer of 2008 to present findings based upon canopy cover data collected for all four crops and determined how water stress affected the health of the crops.
