Patriot Environmental Laboratory Services, Inc. (Patriot) was established in 1998 and offers environmental consulting and laboratory testing to a diverse clientele throughout the United States. The company has grown from its roots focusing on asbestos, lead, mold and bacteria business segments. California based, Patriot is a leading edge company providing environmentally and financially sound solutions to your asbestos, lead and mold issues. All of our projects are handled professionally following Federal and State mandated procedures. As an environmental company, we are fully aware of our responsibility in the health and safety of those we impact, from workers and building occupants to our technicians who sample in the field and our analysts who handle those samples. We also understand the predicaments involved with choosing a laboratory for analysis and finding the proper authorities that can aid in making sound decisions to resolve concerns. As such we take every necessary precautionary measure to protect every individual involved in a project and limit exposure to liability.

As part of a third-party sales force for AT&T U-Verse, my primary responsibility was to acquire new residential accounts daily. The structure for making sales was business-to-consumer (B2C) or door-to-door sales. I would speak with 40-60 people daily at their homes about their current service and explain the benefits of switching their internet, TV, and phone to AT&T U-Verse. My second responsibility was to lead and teach a group of other salesmen to do B2C sales. I would focus on 1 to 2 new team members a week and get them ready to go out on their own and sell.

SMC is a third-party sales force for Verizon Fios for Business. Our campaign focused on acquiring new business accounts for Verizon, and also upgrading existing accounts from DSL (copper) phone lines and internet to a fiber-optic network. My training consisted of both sales training and leadership training. Once I became a leader in the office, I became responsible for training new salesmen to do business-to-business (B2B) sales.

Merical, Inc. is a third-party manufacturer of vitamins and supplements. While at Merical, I worked in the blending department which was responsible for blending the powders together before they are put into capsules or compressed into pills. From start to finish, the process required us to wear FDA-approved uniforms and work with fully sterilized and sanitary equipment. We would gather information from the work order to assemble the necessary ingredients along with the necessary equipment to blend the powders together in a high powered V-Blender. After blending, we had to sterilize all equipment before starting the next batch. My team would blend roughly 7,000 kg of powder per day.

B.E. Switchcraft is responsible for making high-powered switchboards for large building. Electricians would receive a diagram of how to assemble the board properly and what equipment to install, and then assemble the board from start to finish. Since I was not a fully certified electrical tradesman, my job was to assist the electrician during the process. I would utilize a wide variety of tools and techniques to ensure that the functionality and appearance of each switchboard was up to standard. The switchboards we would build cost anywhere from $300 to $80,000 depending on the size of the board.

After playing baseball at the collegiate level, I was given an opportunity to play with the Henley and Grange Rams Baseball Club in the South Australian Baseball League for their 2012-2013 season. As an import athlete, I was recruited as a team member for their Division 1 squad playing both pitcher and shortstop while helping advance the sport in South Australia for the club's junior and youth teams.
