Hello, I'm Taylor Farscht, a driven and dedicated student at Florida State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Media/Communication Studies with a double minor in Retail Entrepreneurship and Editing Writing and Media. With a strong academic background, I have recently achieved recognition on the President's List for Spring of 2023.I am actively involved in various leadership roles on campus, currently serving as the Vice President of Communications for my Greek organization, Delta Gamma. This position has allowed me to cultivate strong organizational and communication skills while working closely with a diverse group of individuals.Additionally, I am an active member of the digital team at Strike Magazine, a publication run by students regarding fashion, lifestyle, and current events. Collaborating with a PR agency targeted towards students, Riddle and Bloom, specifically their Prime Student sector, I have had the privilege of representing them as a campus representative for two semesters. This experience has honed my marketing abilities and provided me with valuable insights into the student market.Prior to my involvement in the media and marketing realm, I gained hands-on experience in the retail industry. I worked as a Retail Associate and Key Holder at Bloomingdale's, where I consistently achieved high sales rankings. This experience allowed me to refine my customer service skills, showcase my attention to detail, and develop strong multitasking abilities.Currently, I am interning at Diamond Communications, where I focus on landlord relations and marketing. This role has given me practical experience in building professional relationships and implementing marketing strategies to promote business growth.In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I have also established my own website and social media presence through www.tailoringbytaylor.com.
