I work for Fidelis Healthcare IT, a division of Fidelis Companies in a Business Development role specializing providing senior level EMR consultants to help augment our clients’ staff for projects. In this role I work to cultivate relationships with our customers and anticipate their requirements across Epic, Cerner, McKesson and other HCIT applications for mid-size to large-scale Healthcare organizations. While at SHI my responsibilities included the following:• Business to Business technology sales to companies in the small to medium business range (100-2,500 employees). • Developing a book of business by reaching out to prospective clients found through online research, referrals, and leads.• Managing customer relationships, assisting with day-to-day IT purchases and strategic projects, creating quotes and placing orders.• Coordinating with potential customers, vendors, and distributors. Aligning resources and ensuring the customer is receiving the best possible product/solution that fits the need.• Managing around 100 accounts in the New England territory through inside sales and completing 50 calls a day.• Managing and creating a sales pipeline in order to forecast quarterly and yearly sales and relaying that information to upper management.
