Currently modeling, designing, and selling pollution control equipment to industry leaders in a variety of sectors. I managed thousands of deliveries of sand to location monthly during my tenure as a Field Engineer for an Oil and Gas company. I issued regular updates on operation status across the company and tracked downtime incurred by all partieson location. I presented on a $50,000 cost savings initiative to international management 6 months into my co-op. I participated actively in the launch of two successful products in the medical and firefighting industry and performed research on an implantable artificial lung. I was fortunate to gain 18 months of professional engineering experience in college and 6 years experience prior. I am passionate about finding solutions to the problems that affect our society today. I constantly strive for excellence while doing my best to inspire the same in others. I am a huge believer in collaboration, because no one person has all the answers. I have played the trombone since 5th grade in marching and concert bands as an outlet to express myself creatively and participate in an organization larger than myself. I place huge emphasis on sustainability, an issue that is incredibly relevant to my areas of interest. I value imagination and innovation as paramount and reject the status quo when appropriate. In my professional experiences, I have upheld and improved the standards of workplace safety. I find myself constantly internally or externally critiquing oft ignored issues in an effort to attain excellence. I pride myself on my ability to play the role of Devil's Advocate to ensure all parties are heard even when it is an unpopular. I am proud to graduate with a higher GPA in my core engineering classes than my general education requirements. I am a lifelong learner and took 25 credits over the required to broaden my knowledge and expand my worldview.
