Launching our first ever startup brand in the ANZ market - Airwallex for Startups (A4S) - I was also responsible for designing and delivering our new commercial function of Community Partnerships. Cross-pollinating between marketing and commercial for the ANZ team, I have the best of both worlds! In our first 3 months of A4S, we built a community of +1.5k startups with more than 30 events and +250k impressions via my personal brand alone. Working with VCs, accelerators, verticalised communities and adjacent service providers, we successfully created an ecosystem of partners to co-amplify our shared value prop to startups. In addition to this core work stream, I was also responsible for leading brand awareness and sales development across two key launches in 2024: Aotearoa | New Zealand market expansion and Core API/Embedded Finance.

Hired by a seed-stage founding team to create a one-to-many sales motion, I successfully launching Trace's Channel Partnerships strategy in Australian and the UK....from scratch! This incredibly creative and fast-paced role allowed me to build a sales playbook from ideation through to scalable revenue. With a core proposition in carbon accounting, I led the end-to-end channel motion of acquiring, onboarding, activating and retaining channel partners across accounting and bookkeeping. In my first 10 months, I had acquired 50+ partners by launching Australia's first-ever targeted training experience for accountants in carbon accounting. Executing multi-model marketing partnerships with leading industry bodies (CA ANZ, ICAEW) and software platforms (Xero), I was able to grow our brand and pipeline in a short period time with high-quality conversion.

Taking this meteoric PropTech to their Series B capital raise, I was responsible for two key partner motions - our referral experience and our strategic partnership with CommBank, one of our lead investors. For the former, I hired and managed a team of three operators who were each responsible for one components of the partner sales cycle: acquisition, activation and retention. For our strategic CommBank partnership, I owned our distribution strategy, bank-wide relationships and monthly reporting. Working with the incredible x15 Ventures team, I navigated the complexity of corporate venture and creating opporutnities for our promising startup in a Big 4 bank.
