Responsible for managing and coordinating staff, events and exhibits as well as running the Front Desk and assuring an excellent experience for our guests. As an Operations Assistant I worked very closely with the Membership, Registration, Education and Development departments. Some of my duties included; running membership reports, making and mailing membership cards, ensuring accurate data entry, the receipt and processing of donation requests, registering guests for programs, assisting with annual appeals and gift entry, assisting as a camp counselor as well as any other tasks the departments may need assistance with.

During my time with Bruegger's I was given the great opportunity to develop my management skills. I was able to have a sense of community and make a difference in people's lives even if it was just for something as small as a delicious, well made meal done with a smile. I am proud to have worked in food service, doing so really gives you a sense of customer service and shows the value of hard work. I loved that I could make a positive impact on others, especially with regulars whether it was remembering an order or asking after someone's loved ones or remembering a food allergy before they were able to order.

Working at a smaller library was such an amazing experience. I was able to assist in many departments, not just at the circulation desk. I helped to revamp our end cap signage, assisted in picking themes and items for front lobby displays to increase circulation and assisted our children's department preparing for crafts and activities.

Working in my college bookstore was a great way to immerse myself in both academics and the school community. Every one coming in was ready for a dialogue about books, whether they were excited, ambivalent or dreading their required readings. I was able to work not only with students, but with other bookstores and publishers moving materials in and out as well as with professors needing to place or check up on orders.
