As the Recycling Program Manager, I: - Champion 9 recycling programs through process improvements, education and advocation, coordination of global returns, reconciling escalations, adapting to changing regulations, complying with audits, and owning policy and process documentation- Developed strategy and managed operations for circular economy server return and resale program achieving $2M in revenue and recirculating 1800+ units- Proposed and executed a pilot to recirculate in-demand products to internal organizations, leading to $50k in Std Cost avoidance and 721 units redeployed- Analyzed supplier invoices and contractual agreements to identify ~$300K in overage errors; negotiated reduced current and future contractual pricing to achieve over ~$1M in savings to date- Manage quarterly and annual budget planning, volume and freight forecasting; responsible for ~$3.3M in budget spend, $7M in recycling and component harvesting benefit, and 9M lbs of product returned for FY21- Track and analyze weight sent to landfill to increase diversion through creative problem solving, leading to a 54% decrease in landfilled weight from FY20 to FY21- Drive strategy and requirements for Cisco’s Product Recycling websites, submission forms, and case management systems in collaboration with IT department.- Organize annual employee electronics recycling event at Cisco offices across North & South America. In 2019, through expanded outreach and tactical placement, timing, and appeal of promotional material, increased the number of participating sites by 36%, totaling 173k lbs of products recycled. Post-COVID, there was a 63% decrease in offices open and able to participate; however, the 2022 event was still a success with a total of 111k lbs of products recycled. - Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to the DJSI, to write, edit, and validate the Product Returns section of the CSR report, and to support Cisco’s ISO 14001 certification for 30 offices globally

As a Project Specialist in Global Logistics, I:- Managed a Thomson Reuters software that generates the Manufacturing shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, Shipper’s Letter of Instructions, Packing Lists) for global shipments to and from the customer, as well as an outsourced team of 2-3 agents involved in resolving any issues with the documents- Implemented a “Single Sign-On” feature for above software to increase security. Worked with the software provider and Cisco IT to implement change in log-in format and with ~150 users to make them aware of the change, convert users to new log-in, and trouble shoot errors. - Assisted on a Product Returns Enablement project which involved researching and engaging customers, conducting 15 customer interviews, gathering feedback, and providing recommendations on how to increase our product returns for end-of-life product

Throughout my Co-op, I:- Managed a multi-department project from the information gathering to the implementation of improved procedure that affected 4 departments and about 8% of business which increased productivity and reduced errors- Produced 20 process maps, documented 2 Project Plans, and created 8 Business Requirements Documents to successfully communicate and complete projects between IT and PM organizations
