I have been an NSO (non-skating official) for the Minnesota RollerGirls since 2011. A WFTDA Level 2 certified NSO; I have experience staffing all NSO officiating positions in sanctioned play. In addition to officiating for both home and interleague play, I am always eager to learn more about the letter and spirit of the WFTDA rules. As my league's Head NSO from 2014 to 2016, I worked with our Head of Officiating and Assistant Head Skating Official to staff league bouts and scrimmages, be responsive to skater needs and questions, train crew members in the theory and execution of NSO roles, strive to help all crew members develop experience and confidence in their roles, and assist them in pursuing travel or tournament experience and WFTDA certification, if desired.

My primary role was producing the collectible programs given to fans at bouts, which showcase the unique poster art for each bout as well as highlight teams, rules, sponsors, bout schedule, and more. This role involved doing magazine-format layout, illustration, typography, copywriting, and editing to ensure the league's unique style and voice are maintained and the content is approachable to our fans, old and new.I also assisted with other design projects, including a league holiday card, and hospitality packet graphics.
