The public “Paseo” is a lushly planted passageway that connects the street to the alley passageway, fostering urbanism in a quiet part of Santa Monica.▪ Main Stage and Conrad Prebys Stage, San Diego, CASenior Project ArchitectThis project consists of two buildings; the renovation of an aging 9,400 SF, 490-seat theatre and a new 14,700 SF 150-seat experimental theatre with a state-of-the-art sound laboratory. The existing theatre is renovated to improve the acoustics and provide accessibility to the patrons and the students in the theatre program. The new experimental theatre offers a space for flexible stage design and audience seating with a tension grid overhead. The sound laboratory supports leading sound research in space with isolated slabs, walls, and ceilings.

The project consists of a new administration, satellite administration, 800-seat auditorium, cafeteria/library, and gymnasium as well as the renovation of existing classrooms.
