I am currently a junior in the Halsam College of Business at the University of Tennessee creating a path for myself to achieve my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a collateral in Entrepreneurship. Growing up, I have always had a competitive mindset to help me achieve my goals and beyond not only my own expectations but others. This trait allowed my responsibility and goals to flourish in every work space and team setting I was involved in. In my current position as a coach, I found myself pushing my kids to their full potential while having fun. This allows room for positive feedback and shows the improvement the child and myself are making in a short amount of time. My reliability gets to shine through at this job by being trusted by supervisors to control and run the company by myself when needed. I consistently receive praise and gratitude from my peers, supervisors, and families I teach for the environment and commitment I bring to the table. My career goal is to use what I learn in my major to achieve the unexpected. I am fascinated daily by the way my brain works and the goals I create for myself. A current goal is to create loyalty with my current employer and work my status up. Recently also being hired to the social marketing department allows me to learn and grow within the company while putting my new developing skills to the test. Everyday I notice my mind works on business ideas and inventions. Using this I plan to create several on-the-side businesses to run and create loyal clients. Businesses big and small, such as, trustworthy pet-sitting companies for families to easily find hard-working animal lovers to watch their furry family members. As well as a small project such as a sticker business to allow loved ones to also have a chance to use their creativity while making money. I’m interested in seeing how much I can achieve off of my own creative brain and motivation. My ultimate career goal is to be well-rounded and respected, to create something of myself and my future.
