As a high school CAD (Computer-Aided Design) instructor, my primary responsibility is to teach students how to use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and designs using the drafting frameworks. I guide students through the fundamentals of drafting, 3D modeling, and digital design, ensuring they develop proficiency in industry-standard tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit using detailed lesson plans. I also help students apply design principles to real-world projects, fostering problem-solving and creativity. Additionally, I assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and create a supportive learning environment that prepares students for further education or careers in design, engineering, and architecture.Prior to my current new role. I was an accomplished designer at Mobi Cabinets serves mostly high-end residential clients. At Mobi, we take every component of a space into account, designing in a way that transforms your kitchen into a living area - a place where functionality, comfort, and entertainment come together flawlessly. Mobi gets its roots from Detail Woodworking, where a commitment to quality and craftsmanship contributed to an outstanding reputation and substantial growth over the last 25 years.Presently, I have completed my work study hours required for NCARB and am currently studying to take the ARE exams toward my architecture license.I graduated from The Boston Architectural College in December of 2022. I took classes full time at night in order to accommodate my full-time job during the day. I have now obtained a 5 1/2-year fully accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree. Prior to working at Mobi, I worked at Jozokos Architecture, Inc. for over 3 years. At JAI, I worked intricately within residential design on new construction, renovations, and additions starting from initial client inquiries following through to construction documents.Prior to JAI, I had a few co-op opportunities that included kitchen and bath design, HVAC design, and transformation existing residential homes to conform to the ADA compliant code for those who needed to circulate their space more specifically.
