I am currently working as a Product Engineer for Weiss Technik.Previously, I worked as a Project Engineer for Evoqua Water Technologies (who purchased ProAct Services Co.) Job requirements included assisting with the conceptual design, review of prints, creating a BOM, working with production on fabrication, inspecting equipment, creating Gantt charts for tracking/scheduling, and testing equipment. During college I was a Crew Leader for the North Campus wood shop at Central Michigan University. I was in charge of designing, cutting (using table saw, power miter box, jointer, drill press, and various hand tools), building, and finishing the project. Examples include vanities, cabinets, and shelving units. I had a crew of 3 reporting to me. To increase efficiency of the design process, I created an Excel spreadsheet that gives the dimensions of every individual part needed. Numerical inputs for the length, width, and height are paired with yes/no inputs for toe kick, middle divider, doors (if so, how many and single or double swing), adjustable shelving, and a stationary shelf.
