Serving for two years as a full-time, volunteer missionary in northeast Brazil and Boise, Idaho, I was assigned leadership positions for the vast majority of my service. I saw myself grow as a strategic leader, critical thinker, confident public speaker, and interpersonal communicator. I developed the skill of establishing vision and carrying out envisioned strategies. Additionally, I have learned through my schooling and various experiences in healthcare leadership how to implement a variety of hard skills and effectively utilize my soft skills to accomplish tasks and deliverables.Having worked as a farmhand for seven years and as a blue-collar laborer my first summer of college, I know what it means to work through adversity. I feel confident in my gritty drive to overcome complex healthcare challenges that on the forefront may appear overwhelming. I naturally thrive under pressure, embracing the grind of life and rising to the occasion when the demand to balance multiple commitments forces its inevitable hand.I am passionate about cultivating lasting relationships with people. I highly value building relationships with others- namely with my family, close friends, and Supreme Creator. Listening to and actively concerning myself with the struggles and successes of others as appropriate has brought me the greatest joys in life.Finally, I am passionate about providing my fellow man access to healing. In religious duties throughout my life, I have had life-changing opportunities to manage the delivery of "spiritual healthcare" by assisting others to access the healing power of the Divine Physician. Thus, I see my calling to healthcare leadership as an extension of my faith. Knowing that I can bless the lives of others with physical, mental, and emotional healing as a healthcare leader brings me great joy. As a devout man of faith, I am thrilled to continue to pursue becoming a servant-leader in this noble profession.
