Multiple projects situated in coastal/estuaries communities from the Hunter region to Sydney. As the project lead, I communicated with stakeholders (such as the Dept. of Environment and Heritage and Sydney Olympic Park) to survey coastal salt marsh for target plant species, apply for licences, and send reports. These projects involved targeted species survey of multiple species within the saltmarsh community, including the native species Juncus kraussii, Sporobolus virginicus, Sarcocornia quinqueflora and the vulnerable species Wilsonia backhousei and Tecticornia pergranulata as well as the invasive species such Juncus acutus.

Work involved independent management of the nursery and as a team member. In addition, the central role involved knowledge of the maintenance and requirements for optimal growth of native and non-native species. Another part was providing customers with information on native and invasive species within the hunter region, effective weed management practices, and identifying plant species in both photos & sample form.

This project was a conservation and bush regeneration project within Dungog, New South Wales. The project aimed to identify and manage weeds within the woodland, while also restoring native species using passive and active methods. A significant aspect of this project was targeted surveying, identifying, and reporting the location of the endangered species, Cynanchum elegans.
