I started my career in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2005, working in the Event Services sector, and too today, I have built a portfolio of project and full time roles around the globe. I now live in London, UK and work for the European Tour Group (DP World Tour).My current role as Player Services Manager makes me responsible for the Challenge Tour membership, comprising 263 professional athletes. A day in the role involves supporting the planning of tournaments, (i.e.: promoter communication, accommodation & travel logistics, media & sponsorship engagement, and Player requests), Player and management communication, media and sponsorship, new tour initiatives, membership growth plans and Player support.Prior to this role I worked in the event management sector; hosting, planning and managing events of varying descriptions. A few projects to mention have been the Rugby World Cup, Barclays ATP Finals, Fifa World Cup, Gartner Winners Forum, Silverstone F1 Grand Prix and Australian Open.During this period of my career I worked in a number of roles, with a number of leading agencies, which built upon my skills and added to my corporate experiences.
