Using audience analysis, I produced timely and relatable content that drove engagement on social media. After solely contributing to the music section for a year with playlists and features about upcoming artists, I became a writer and section editor for news. One of our chapter's most successful events was People Magazine's Style Watch Celebrity Stylist on Campus Tour in which our team worked with celebrity stylist Joiee Thorpe. During my time working with this branch, I saw our chapter progress to gold level and then to platinum level, which signaled our steadily increasing views and online presence.

As an editorial intern, I produced content for both the print publication and site. This included spotlights on important Nashville community members, stores, and events. My duties included interviewing, researching, and writing as well as thoroughly studying Nashville's growing social scene. Highlights of my internship included interviewing celebrities such as late night talk show host Jay Leno and country singer Lee Brice.

I submitted pieces that were heavily concentrated on pop culture. My focus included music, movies, and television shows that were popular at the time as well as classic pop culture from the 1980s and 1990s. I also participated in compiling a list for a feature called "The 30 Women We're Most Thankful For in 2013" and helped produce blurbs about two of the featured women, Angelina Jolie and Zooey Deschanel.

I conducted interviews via email for artists of several different musical genres and label statuses and produced stories about them in a timely manner. Other responsibilities included producing album reviews upon their release and fact-checking the information provided in them.
