I am currently a Communication major working towards a minor in Business. I have a projected graduation date of August 2016. I have approximately five years of experience within a variety of positions that have required me to work closely with other people. These positions have allowed me to enhance my skills in forming relationships, shaped my strong verbal and written communication skills and permitted me to develop the ability to work efficiently in teams within different environments. I currently am working as a Student Fundraiser at The Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University. We contact former students in order to keep them connected, build a strong rapport and give them the chance to give back to the institution. I believe that my experiences in this position has instilled in me a confidence and determination to meet specific goals, build relationships and think and act effectively in a rapidly changing environment. In addition to those positions where I was able to build important skills, I have been able gain experience as a trainer at Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurant in multiple positions throughout the company. This has allowed me to build strong management skills as well as given me the opportunity to form influential and lasting relationships.
