As the Community Relations Manager with the Tulsa Drillers, my goal is to improve the lives of fans with one game at a time. I understand that my job is more than selling tickets. My job requires the ability to connect the community with the game of baseball. Growing up, I would attend Drillers game with my parents. The memories of joy and spending time as a family will forever outlast the record of wins and losses. It is my hope to provide the same memorable experience for every fan that steps inside ONEOK Field. During college, I was able to develop my skills in guest services by becoming a Cast Member at the Disney Store and through the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida. With my experience at the parks, I was able to help create magical moments for more than an average of 19,000 guest per day.Since working full time with the Tulsa Drillers, I am living my dream job. I am always looking for that unique, special, some may say crazy idea. Not only am I able to create unique experiences during the game, but I have also been able to help create the Baskets & Bases event. Baskets & Bases is an annual disc golf experience at ONEOK Field that started in 2018 and has continued each year since, including in 2020. Also during the year that was 2020, I was able to establish a partnership with the Tulsa County Election Board and established ONEOK Field as the Early Voting Polling Location for the 2020 General Election. The goal behind the announcement was to create a safe-distance, open-air option for votes to be heard. It is estimated to have approx 21,000 ballots filled at ONEOK Field.I am also hard-of-hearing who wears hearing aids in both ears. I refer to myself often as the Deaf Guy. I am perfectly comfortable with my hearing loss and am open to answering any questions regarding hearing. If you have a deaf joke, please do not be afraid to say it.
